This category will be used for individuals, organizations or businesses who want to hold a one-time
fishing tournament event outside at a Forsyth County park.

  • Charleston Park
  • Mary Alice Park
  • Six Mile Creek Park 
  • Young Deer Creek Park

This category will be used for organizations or businesses who want to hold a one-time race event at a Forsyth County Park.

Locations Include:
  • Chattahoochee Pointe (3.1 miles or less)
  • Eagle’s Beak Park (3.1 miles or less)
  • Big Creek Greenway

This category will be used for individuals, organizations or businesses who want to use a park location for video production or still photography.

This category will be used for individuals, organizations or businesses who want to place an approved geocache at a Forsyth County park.

Geocaching Permit Application

Events can be characterized by but not limited to any of the following:
o    Event will require an entry fee, or any fee is charged to the public
o    Event will generate revenue
o    Event will be advertised to the public
o    Event will have amplified sound, food, merchandise, inflatables and other forms of entertainment
o    Event will require equipment to be set-up
o    Event activities are outside the general scope for what the facility or park was intended
o    Event may impact the environment
o    Event may restrict use of the property by the general public
